Stanley and Habitat for Humanity
In Connecticut, across the United States and around the world, Stanley and Habitat for Humanity have partnered to build hundreds of homes with people who are committed to the idea that affordable, decent housing is essential for everyone. We sponsor homes in the communities where we live and work, build homes as part of the Jimmy Carter Work Project in Mexico, and deliver the funds and Stanley® Tools that Habitat needs to fulfill its mission.

SkillsUSA
Stanley has partnered with the nationwide SkillsUSA organization, instilling technical skills and leadership development in more than a quarter million high school and college students every year. For the past two years, we have been the single largest sponsor of SkillsUSA and helped to develop new programs to energize and excite the youth of America about their future.

Red Feather Development Group
Stanley has partnered with Red Feather Development Group, a national non-profit organization that teaches affordable, replicable and sustainable approaches to home construction. Stanley has become the “Official Hand Tool Supplier” for Red Feather Development Group and has agreed to provide Red Feather with an array of tools to be used during the construction of each building project. In addition, The Stanley Works will make a financial contribution for ongoing support of Red Feather initiatives.

Stanley and the United Way
In the New Britain Community, the Greater Hartford area and in every U.S. location that Stanley operates, Stanley is a major supporter of The United Way every year. Matching our employee contributions and supporting the United Way with Stanley® Tool sales and other fundraisers, we help The United Way and its affiliated organizations make a difference right here at home.

Stanley Matching Gifts
Stanley has a Matching Gifts Program for employees and retirees, which will match contributions on a $1 for $1 basis. Since the program's inception in 1969, Stanley has matched about $5 million of employee contributions.

“Tale of the Tape” at the New Britain Rock Cats
Stanley donates $100 to a local New Britain area youth organization every time a Rock Cats player hits a home run. We’ve sponsored this great program for several years and have given tens of thousands of dollars to many area organizations, including:
